The taxes on their refinery are way too low and I proposed raising them (by triple) to bring them in line
with other refineries in CA. They screamed bloody murder. Because their taxes are too low, it makes
other businesses like Boeing, Raytheon, etc. pay too much. So, it’s a real inequity.
